If you haven't contributed yet to our online fundraiser to improve the homes of 23 teenage boys in Honduras, what are you waiting for?

Goal: $15,000
Where: Nuevo Paraíso, Honduras, 45 minutes east of Tegucigalpa
Why: The Santiago Apostol homes need additional bathrooms, sleeping areas, and other renovations to keep 23 teenage boys healthy, happy, and able to study for school.

Help us to improve the home of Steven and his 22 housemates!

Danery "Steven" Bonilla Maldonado
Steven lives in the Santiago Apostol homes for teen boys in Nuevo Paraíso, Honduras. Born on August 8, 2000, Steven came here to live in the summer of 2014. His younger brother, Jan Carlos, lives in another children's home here. Their mother requested placement of both boys after their biological father abandoned them, and her current boyfriend was abusive to Steven. She also wanted to get the boys away from gangs and drug activity where they lived. Steven is 16 and in 9th grade; he is very social and likes to practice his English with visitors! He would like to be a teacher when he grows up. His favorite class is Social Studies, food is sandwiches, and  movie is Transformers.

Please help us raise $15,000 to make these needed renovations to the two Santiago Apostol homes--any amount is appreciated!
