Holiday gift-giving is a time-honored tradition that expresses our appreciation for each other, near or far. In the spirit of the holidays and Giving Tuesday, we believe that sponsoring a Honduran child is an opportunity to create a connection and shared purpose between you, your child/ grandchild/ godchild/ niece or nephew, and the children of Sociedad Amigos de los Niños in Honduras.
When you sponsor a child or a children's home through FHC, we facilitate the chance for a child in your life to connect with your sponsored child in Honduras. He or she can have a cross-cultural correspondence that allows them to explore the things that make us different and the things that unite us in a global community.
We have two options for Sponsorship:
You may sponsor an individual child. This child and one in your life will be able to write to each other twice a year, and become pen pals.
($35 per month)
You may sponsor a home of about ten children who live together as brothers and sisters, along with a housemother. In this case, your child can write to the home as one, or to each individual child within the home. If you have more than one child interested in participating, this may be an excellent option!
($50 per month)
Once you begin your sponsorship, we will send you a personalized letter about the child or home. You can share it with the child in your life, perhaps in their Christmas stocking!
