IHM Youth Mission Trip to Honduras, July 4-11, 2023.

We had 16 travelers:

  • 11 high schoolers

  • 1 college student

  • 4 adult chaperones.

Our projects:

  • Painted Hogar Angeles inside and out and did a mini-Extreme Home Makeover there, bringing down new bedding, towels, curtains, and kitchen items.

  • Bought and bagged food for a brigade to Father Rogelio’s parish in Morocelí (Armando and Rene delivered them, due to COVID restrictions.)

  • Brought Chinese food to the Santiago boys and had a ping pong tournament another night.

  • Hosted an outdoor carnival with piñatas, games, face painting and snacks.

  • Listened as Dany Diaz and Kevin Zazo shared their stories

  • Visited and played with the Pedro Atala children
